Next Global Stage, LLC, (NGS), along with alliance partners, provides strategic carbon services for clients globally. Â RETECH works closely with NGS, to ensure clients obtain expert guidance from the initial design and eligibility assessment stage, through to the actual trading of carbon credits. NGS assists RETECH clients to place credits in the international market. The full set of services provided to clients consists of three principal phases:
- Project Assessment
- Project Preparation, and
- Commercialization of Carbon Credits generated.
NGS and RETECH guidance extends through the various steps involved in the development and implementation of an emission reduction project.
NOTE: For the purpose of this explanation, ‘carbon credits’ refer to any greenhouse gas related environmental value including, but not restricted to, CERs, Emission Reduction Units (ERUs), Verified Emission Reductions (VERs), Green Certificates, Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs), and any other sort of carbon offsets, as deemed appropriate for the project. All work will be undertaken to ensuring that ‘carbon credits’ provide supplementary benefits to improve the overall economic performance of the project. In practice, this entails that proposed project activities are acceptable under the terms of the CDM and/or JI, or any other non-Kyoto compliant scheme.
